DIY Screen Protector

Ok. You're out on the Sahara desert and you don't want the sand from the desert to ruin your iPhone screen. But the only thing you have is a roll of packing tape. What do you do? This instructible will teach you how to make an inexpensive screen protector for your device.

Supplies

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any damage done to you or your device during, or as a result of, this instructible. Supplies: You will need an exactoknife, 1 roll of clear scotch tape or packing tape, a credit card, and a touchscreen device.

Preperation

If you have a case on your device, take it off. Cut a strip of tape as long as the device, then cut as many more uniform prices as needed to cover the screen.

Application

Apply the pieces with as little overlap as possible. Try to scrape off as many bubbles as possible with a credit card.

Cutting the Apertures

Use the exactoknife to VERY carefully cut the holes for the buttons and speakers. Optional: home button cover for apple devices. Cut out a price of tape for the home button.

All Done!

Replace the case. Now you are done! Enjoy your anti scratch screen! (The phone is dead so I cannot show you how it works but I have done this before so I promise it does:-)
