DIY Sanding Bit Hack!!!

So I love making small projects and stuff. One day, I was working on making a fidget spinner using Popsicle sticks. As you can imagine, it was pretty tedious work since I didn't have a Dremel to cut and sand the wood. When I got to the part when I needed to sand the hole for the bearings, I ended up making a sanding drill bit for my drill. I thought it was pretty cool so I wanted to share it with y'all...

Pretty much everyone will have these materials laying around their house...if you don't, you can get them pretty much anywhere.

Materials

- Drill (no, you won't need to take this apart)

- Hot glue gun + glue sticks

- Cardboard (I just used a cereal box)

- A pen

- Sandpaper

Prepare the Parts

Just disassemble the pen so you have the long plastic shaft that the actual ink tube sits in.

Next, cut out the piece of cardboard. The dimensions should be 4 cm by 28 cm.

Glue It All Together

Glue one end of the corner to the top part of the pen. Wrap the rest of the cardboard around the pen while frequently gluing it in place. Keep twisting and gluing until..well...there is no more cardboard the wrap.

Glue the Sandpaper in Place

Cut a strip of sandpaper 4 cm wide. Next, glue it around the cardboard part so that it wraps completely around.

Install It on Your Drill

Put the sanding bit on your drill just like any other old bit and there you go! You're done!
