DIY Robotic Arm

Assemble Base Servo Part

Instructions:-

  1. Take a base servo part as shown , you can see a cut-out made for a servo. Insert the servo in a manner that its output shaft is opposite to the inward curve as shown and screw the servo in place and bolts are fastened as well
  2. Mount another servo as shown, Also make sure the servo output shaft is opposite to the internal curve as shown. Screw it into place and fasten in with bolts.
  3. Take the chassis and mount the servo horn as shown, Mount & screw the servo horn screw to the servo attached base servo mount as shown

Assemble Arm Support

Servo, Base servo part, screws, screw driver, chassis, servo horn, output shaft screw,

Instructions:

  1. Take the arm support part and attach to the servo as shown
  2. Make sure to screw it in tight in its position so there is no movement error

Instructions:-

  1. Take the arm link and insert the servo as shown, While mounting the servo make sure the servo gear shaft is near to the smaller part of the hollow cut
  2. After Inserting the servo , mount the screws as shown and once done, Place the servo horn on the other end of arm support as shown and connect the servo with the help of shaft screw as shown.

Instructions:-

  1. Take the gripper base part and connect the servo as shown. While mounting, make sure the servo output shaft is in the same line as the hole. Once connected, check if the servo is in line with the bump on the other side.
  2. Place servo horn socket arm of the gripper on the servo as Also make sure, it is perpendicular to the base. Place the servo horn on the provision given and screw it as shown
  3. Similarly, place the other arm on the extruded support given. Make sure the hole in the base gripper part and the arm part are aligned. Once placed, screw and fasten the bolt of the arm and connect Gripper to the arm link as shown.
  4. Make sure the holes of the parts align and then screw them together as shown. Fasten the bolts as well. Once this is done, your gripper is ready to be used.
