Fold the paper in half three times, as shown in the pictures above.

Color

Unfold the paper and color each strip, front and back.

You should have an even number of strips if you want to do this. If properly done, you should have 8 of them by now, but you can add or take away strips as long as you end up with an even number of them.

Cut

Roll the strips of papers into circles and glue them at the point where both sides can connect.

The picture with drawings shows you to first (1) take your strip of paper, then (2) bend it, and lastly (3) glue the circle together.

Apply glue on one side of the circle. Then, push down the other side onto the glue, as shown in the picture.

It looks like the infinity ♾ sign!

Glue 2 of your newly made infinity strips onto each other in a plus + shape.

Glue another 2 on top in an cross x shape.

Make another plus +, and then another cross x, and keep repeating these two steps until all you have no strips left.

Then you can top it all off with a smaller circle, but without making it an infinity shape.

Make sure you glued everything well, because if not the assembly will fall part.

Finish!

You can use it for wrapping gifts, as decor, or anything else you can think of! Hope you liked this project!

Tips:

  • Put your finger through each opening circle in the layers, to keep it round.
  • You can also try to replicate this with other materials, and see which you’d like using best!
  • You can easily replace most of the glue parts with double sided tape.
  • Glitter, Stickers, and other materials are also great for this craft.
  • When assembling the project, it can be best to use your most weakly created or darkest color first and rise up from that. This way, you can make a gradient or sort of hide the least best at the bottom.
