DIY Recycled Christmas Photo Display
Have you put up your holiday decorations yet? This recycled photo/card display is a great option if you are still looking for ideas. It will likely cost you no money if you already have tape and spray paint at home. You can make it as big as you want depending on the size of your cardboard or even with other shapes, perhaps a square for Christmas card display?
Draw a Triangle
Start by drawing a triangle with 27 x 46 cm. Once you have the first one, draw other two triangles inside with 2 cm apart. Repeat the process again, you’ll need two pieces of each size, one for the front and other for the back.
Cut It
Use an X-Acto knife to cut them out.
Add Tape
Cover the entire thing with tape and make sure to cut little snippets at the edges to make it fold nicely
Add Color
To give it color, I spray painted the cardboard with silver paint.
Ribbon
Once it is dry, plan where you want the ribbon pieces to go, and how many strands you’ll need, then mark the place where each piece lays and glue them. Let it dry for a bit and cut the excess ribbon.
Glue It
Next, add wood glue to the entire surface and glue the other piece on top. Place heavy books on top and let it dry. Attach the photos with mini wooden clothespins. That is it!
