DIY Recycled 12V 5A Battery Charger From SMPS

Electric Vehicles have come into the trend.Many People have different types of EVs such as Ebikes, Ecars, Escoots, etc. Battery Chargers are much expensive then the total cost of this project with fast charging.Today We are going to make a 12V 5A charger that can be used in Charging EV Batteries quickly.
PLEASE NOTE : ALL THE PROJECTS MADE SHOULD NOT BE CONNECTED TO POWER UNTIL COMPLETELY MADE.
So Lets Start:)

PURPOSE

The electronic waste generated is rising day by day. Inorder to make some difference we will use recycled objects and a very few new objects.

ALL WE NEED:-

SMPS(Power Supply): This can be old or new but should be working.I have extracted from my Old PC.You can chose one from a nearby junkyard.
Adapter For SMPS
TOOLS: Screw Driver
Wire Stripper
Electrical tape

LETS START

Open the body and clean the inner portion if necessary.
See to it that there are all wires uncut

CUTTING THE WIRES

Cut all the wires going out except green, black and yellow.
NOTE :THERE WILL BE MULTIPLE YELLOW AND BLACK WIRES AND WE NEED ALL UNCUT.

JOINING

Make a group of yellow and another group of black and green.
Strip the wires an inch long and connect them top their groups.
Yellow pole forms positive pole while the black and green together forms negative pole.

AND DONE

Check the voltage of the Powersupply.
It must be between 11V-13V.
