DIY Punching Bag

In this instructable I will show you how to make a cheap punching bag that weighs between 20 and 30 pounds. I made this almost a year ago so I don't have any pictures of the process. This is also my first instructable, so I hope you like it, and sorry that there aren't many pictures.

To make this punching bag you will need:

- 2 drawstring bags
- duct tape
- some sand
- a piece of rope
- and somewhere to hang your punching bag

First, fill one drawstring bag with sand, and put it inside the other drawstring bag. Then duct tape the entire thing except for the very top. Be sure to use a lot of duct tape so that it is strong and doesn't lose sand.

Finally tie your rope to the top of the bag and hang your bag somewhere. I hung mine on a hook I put in my ceiling, but you can hang it wherever.

Now your done. Enjoy your cheap, diy punching bag. Just remember that it is filled completely with sand, so start punching lightly and increase power slowly. You don't want hurt yourself if your not ready to punch something that solid yet.
