Instructional Video :)
Draw the base circle of the candle and its height. Cut these pieces out of the sheet of paper.
Stick with masking tape the pieces cut in the previous step (as shown in the images)
Cover the candle with plastic wrap
Cut the polymer clay into small parts and create groups as shown in the images. Then mix each group created.
What I did in this step was to cut a small portion of each ball of polymer clay and combine it with another small portion of the one next to it, in order to create more shades of color.
Create cylinders of polymer clay with each color and flatten them with the roller
Join all the parts and flatten them with the roller
Combine some yellow with white, knead it into a cylinder shape, flatten it with the roller and join it to the bottom as shown in the images
Then cut it into two parts and add a bit of yellow to one of them.
Join both parts (leaving the yellow in the center) and flatten them with the roller
Now cover the top with red
Cut the piece into three equal parts and join them
Cover them with more red and again cut it into 3 equal parts
Join the parts and start kneading a little, giving a triangular shape
Cover with red polymer clay and cut pieces approx 3 or 4 mm wide
Those pieces that did not turn out very well when cut, I mixed them and with them I created the lower part of the candle holder.
Then what I did was flatten each petal a bit with the roller, stick it to the polymer clay base made in the previous step and finish shaping it with my fingers.
When the candle holder was the shape I wanted, I cut the plastic wrap and took out the candle. Then I carefully removed the plastic.
I put it in the oven for 30 minutes at the temperature suggested by the polymer clay supplier.
When it cooled down I put the candle inside it and enjoyed seeing it finished :)
