DIY Polymer Clay Necklace

Hi!  My name is Lindsay, I blog over at Southern Lovely.

Have you seen some of the adorable rose necklace & earrings out there?? I have purchased a few of them here & there, but have always wanted to make my own. When my cute blog friend, Lindsay , shared a tutorial for making them, I knew I had to give it a try!

So here it goes-

Gather materials

-polymer clay (I purchased mine at Michaels)
-necklace chain (from Michaels)
-pendent clasp (from Michaels)
-razor blade or box cutter
-hot glue gun (or Krazy glue)

Roll 6 small balls of clay, then flatten them with your fingers.

Fold one ball in half, I ended up rolling it to make it tighter for the center piece.

Then wrap each flattened piece around the center part that you just rolled up, creating the petals.

Cut the end of your flower off, depending how big you want your rose.

Bake at 275 degrees for 15 minutes

Attach your freshly baked rose to the pendent of your necklace with hot glue (or Krazy glue)

Of course I had to buy several colors, because that's how I like to do these around here. :) Can't wait to make more!
