DIY Pokebank

Do you have a few extra pokedollars in your pocket from your journey to collect them all? Here's the instructions to build your very own PokeBank!

Supplies

Before getting to work on the PokeBank, we have to gather a few supplies.

Supplies:

  • Cardboard
  • Hot glue sticks
  • Red and White paint
  • Cork
  • Black paint pen

Tools:

  • Hot glue gun
  • Paint Brush
  • Ruler
  • Scissors or Box cutter
  • Pencil

Cutting Cardboard Into Squares

Step 1: Using your pencil and ruler, draw out 6 squares that are each 8 inches by 8 inches.

Step 2: Use your scissors/box cutter to cut out each square.

Painting the Squares

Step 1: Paint 1 of your squares all red.

Step 2: Paint 1 of your squares all white.

Step 3: Paint 4 of your squares half white and half red.

Step 4: Make a thick black line using the black paint pen down the middle of the half white and half red squares

Cutting Out the Holes

Step 1: Take the square that is all red and measure a rectangle in the middle of square that is 1/4 wide by 2 inches long

Step 2: Cut out the rectangle

Step 3: Take one of the half white and half red squares and draw out a circle about the size of a quarter in the middle of square

Step 4: Cut out the circle, but keep it. You will need it for the next step.

Step 5: Outline the hole with the black paint pen

Making the Plug

Step 1: Cut your cork in half

Step 2: Paint your cork white

Step 3: Take your hot glue gun and hot glue the cork to the circle that you cut out

Putting It Together

Step 1: Put the all white square down with the brown side facing the inside

Step 2: Place a strip of hot glue on the edge of the solid white side of the red and white squares

Step 3: Glue down the red square on the top of the sides with the brown side facing the inside
