DIY Planter using buckets and rope

Supplies

Dollar Tree Plastic Buckets.PNG
Scissors.PNG
E6000.PNG
Rope.PNG
Tape.PNG
Moss.PNG
Kraft paper.PNG
Plant.PNG

4 Dollar Tree Plastic Buckets with Handles(if you can find without handles, even better!)

Scissors

E6000 Permanent Craft Glue

Cotton Rope

Tape

Artificial Moss

Kraft Paper(optional)

Artificial Plant

Remove Handles

Cut the handles off each basket.

Glue Baskets Together

Glue two baskets together, connecting the base of the baskets.

Repeat this process with the remaining two baskets.

Glue both sets of baskets together, connecting the rim of the baskets.



Let Dry

Let the glue dry overnight.

Add Rope

Starting at the base, glue the rope around the basket and continue wrapping to the top. Use the same tension and keep the rope close to avoid open spaces.

Cut and seal the ends of the rope with tape.

Add Plant

Place a plant inside the center of the top basket.

(Optional) Add Kraft paper around the plant.

Cover With Moss

Cover the base of the plant with artificial moss and add the finished product to your home decor.
