DIY PVC Sunday Golf Bag

I made this for a family reunion at a very cool spot in Troutdale!
I have since made one costing a little as $18. Although I like a little more extravagant and so have spent about $30.

Good luck and enjoy!!

Tools:
Drill
3/16 drill bit
Pliers and/or adjustable wrench
Rivet gun

3” PVC pipe from 24”-30” long.
End cap… I used a female adapter with male screw cap. To be explained later.
2, ¼”-4” carriage bolt, washer, nut.
Turnbuckle, small to be covered by nylon tubing (club separator) see picture.
1 ½” nylon strap, or can use old drawer handle.
1 ft, ½” or larger nylon hose. To be used for nylon handle & club separator.
Rivets (3/16-⅛) and washers. (Bend washers using 2 pliers, to match curve of pipe.) (Using rivets leaves less product that could damage club shaft.)
U shaped rubber trim, for top edge of PVC pipe, to protect club shafts. (Can use tape for cost reduction)
Cup holder. (Used bike water bottle holder.)
PVC glue (although most good glues will work.)
Spray paint?

Drilled 2 holes in male end cap, 4 inch carriage bolts inserted and nut & washer to secure. Used as spikes to hold the bag upright in dirt. (I use female end cap and male screw cap insert so that spikes in male screw cap can be reversed for storage safety.) see picture
Can use one bolt. (I use 2 for stability)

Drilled 3 holes for rivets (top to bottom,7” separation from top-middle, 17” separation middle-bottom), used for nylon shoulder strap & handle. Started in middle, then fold over to top (double fold for strength), then long loop to bottom for shoulder strap. (Picture)
Double fold end of nylon strap for added strength. I picked through nylon strap with small end of rivet to make hole for normal side rivets, also used small amount of glue for added strength

Threaded short portion of nylon strap to be used for handle through nylon hose. (Picture)…
(Can skip this entire step and attach a drawer handle, by drilling 2 holes)

Drill 2 holes for rivets to hold cup holder.

Used weather strip rubber trim on inner top rim, 3/16 worked perfectly. (Used to protect club shaft.) (Can use tape to keep cost down)

If your going to paint it… do it before putting on strap/handle and accessories.

Drill 2 holes for club separator. Insert bolt, slid bolt through nylon hose. Secure with washer and nut. (hose is for club shaft protection) (picture)
Also used turnbuckle, so ends have option for accessories, ie… carabiner, keys, etc. (can skip this for cost reduction)
