DIY Online Security Camera!

thumbnail.jpg

In this project I will show you how to combine an ESP32-CAM with an ordinary security camera housing in order to create an online security camera. That means I will show you how to use the ESP32-CAM board in order to take pictures and then I will show you how to integrate it into home assistant. There we can then create an automation in order to take pictures when an intruder triggers an alarm. At the end I will then show you how to put all of the components inside a security camera housing. Let's get started!

Watch the Video!

Make sure to watch the video. It will give you pretty much all the information you need to create your own online security camera. During the next steps though, I will present you some additional information.
