As we grown up, our old t-shirt and others stuffs get shorter to wear. So i decided to reuse them in a super cool way by makind a play stuf to my dog. This is a great way to recycle a few old t-shirts. If you have a dog, making an awesome dog toy out of old t-shirts is super easy, and free. So before running to the store to get a tug-of-war rope for your furry loved one, give this a try.

Lets begin!

What You Will Need!

What you will need is three old, clean cotton or poly-blend t-shirts, in the colors of your choice. They would need to be all approximately the same size. You will also need a good pair of scissors, and a dog to play with the toy.

Lay Out Your T-shirts

Lay out your t-shirts, one at a time. Cut them across into approximately one inch strips, like shown in the picture above. Go until you hit the sleeves at the armpit. Once you are done, you should have a bunch of strips of t-shirts.

Cut the Strips

Once you are done cutting the shirts, you will have these circle one inch strips. Give them a snip in the middle to open them up. Look at the picture above.

Braid Them Together

Now, braid them together in a simple braid. Get someone to hold one end to make it easier to braid.

Tie a Few Knots

Once you are done braiding, separate the ends at each end of the braid into two and tie a few knots together to tie it off. Make sure the knots are nice and strong. Just trim the edges, make them nice and even.

Now Ready to Be Played With!

Now your toy is all done and ready to be played with!
