Cut & Crop

First, cut a straight line up the center of the shirt's top layer. Move the flaps out of the way and crop the back layer of material to your desired length (I cut about 5 inches or so from the bottom).

Cut & Attach Straps

Now, cut thin strips from the bottom of each front flap. Next, cut very tiny slits at the bottom center of each flap.

After that, slip the ends of each thin strip of material through each tiny slit that you just cut and tie knots. The front flaps will cross in front and wrap around your body, and the strips at the end will tie behind your back!

Attach Eyelets

Move up to the collar of the shirt and cut very tiny slits at the corner of each side. Then, use the toolkit and hammer to secure the eyelets onto each corner (see video for more details on this process). https://youtu.be/vMSRFn1nUAQ

Cut & Attach Front Ties

Once the eyelets are attached, take the piece of material you cut from the bottom of the shirt's back layer and cut two long, thin strips.

Next, slip each strip through each eyelet and secure them with knots. Then, tie the two strips together in a neat bow!

*You can also use a different color string/fabric for this part if you'd like to change up the look!

All Done!
