DIY Motorized Turntable

Made from reclaimed and 3D printed parts...

Minimal cost

Out of pocket is only a dollar or two worth of filament, a couple of screws and nuts, four adhesive pads.

STL files can be found on Thingiverse...

My parts were printed with a 0.8mm nozzle to minimize printing time.

Though a standard 0.4mm nozzle can be used.

Insert the power wire.

I just knotted it for strain relief.

Be sure to leave plenty to reach the motor.

Strip the outer sheath.

Cut and strip the wires to length.

  • One directly to the motor.
  • The other to one tab on the back of the switch.
  • Then from the other tab on the switch to the motor.

Solder the wires in place

Finishing Up
