DIY Mobile Phone Stand

Whether you're on a video call or just watching a movie, holding the phone in your hand for too long becomes irritating and especially if you have sweaty hands, it's a nightmare. One way to solve this issue is to have a mobile phone stand which does the task of holding the mobile for you.

And what's even better is to build your own mobile phone stand. So in this Instructable, I'll show you how to build your own Mobile Phone Stand using some recycled popsicle sticks. Let's get Started.

For this quick hack, you'll need the following items in your inventory:

• Recycled Popsicle Sticks (6-7)
• Glue Gun
• Crafting Scissors
• Markers (For Detailing)

These are all the things you need to get going.

This mobile phone stand will have a structure similar to an art-board.
First step is to place two popsicle sticks angled in the shape of an 'A' without the bridge in between. Now you need to add some glue and stick the two sticks at the tapering edge.

This will act as the basic frame for your holder.

Now that you have the basic framework for the holder, you need to build a small platform which will hold the phone. For this take a popsicle stick and stick it across the 'A' shape almost near the bottom. Make sure there is sufficient ground clearance.

Also the platform should be stuck in such a way that the flat surface is pointed upwards. Reinforce the flat surface on the bottom with some extra hot glue so that it doesn't bend off due to the weight of the mobile.

Now that you have everything ready, you'll need to make the stand. Before placing a popsicle stick as a stand, attach a small piece of popsicle stick across the 'A' joint on the top. This will provide better strength and support to your stand.

Next add some more hot glue on this newly made joint and place a popsicle stick on it as shown in the figure. Bend it at your desired angle and let it dry.

After sticking the stand, your mobile phone holder is complete. You can optionally paint this with your favorite color or use a marker to make any design you want on the stand.
