DIY Mini Button Flower Bouquet

This sweet button flower craft is quick to make and such a fun way to use up old buttons! I can't be the only one who has a big jar of them sitting in my craft closet...
Follow the simple steps to wire together some "flowers", then display them in a miniature bouquet. They are bright, cheerful, and look like mini spring or summer blooming flowers.
This is a great craft for kids and would make a cute decoration for a doll, or a craft for a party!

Supplies

Build the Flowers

Create stacks of button layers to look like flowers. Choose a variety of colors, shapes, sizes, and patterns!
Form at least 10-15 groupings.
Wire Them Together

Cut a piece of craft wire and thread through one hole in the group of buttons. Pass down through another hole to secure.
Twist the wire underneath the buttons. Keep building until all flowers are complete.

Make a Salt Shaker Vase

Trim the wires to various heights to create a miniature bouquet. Place stems through the holes of the top of a salt shaker.
Place the tallest flowers in the middle, then layer slightly shorter stems through the outer holes. Continue bending and trimming until you like the look of the bouquet.
Decorate the salt shaker if you'd like!
PS: You can also use a sewing spool to make a miniature vase. For this and other tips and tricks, check out the full instructions on the blog: https://welcometonanas.com/cute-diy-button-flowers-in-a-salt-shaker/
