DIY Message Board

This project is quick, easy, and cute for your room.
Supplies
Here's what you'll need.
Old bulletin board
Quilter's batting (This is not really necessary, it just makes it look a little better.)
Fabric
Ribbon
Thumbtacks (Decorative or flat work best.)
Hot glue gun
Batting

You may want to take off the wooden edges, but this is optional. First, cover the top surface of the board with the batting.
Fabric

Cut a piece of fabric that has an extra 2 inches on all sides and lay it over the batting. Carefully flip over the board and glue the fabric up on the edge.
Ribbon

Lay ribbon strips across the board and glue them in place on the other side of the board. Wherever the ribbon intersects, push a tack into place.
