To assemble one hand we will need: 4 clamps, a screw and a nut M2.5, a screw and a nut M3. First we expand the tube on one of the terminals, then tightly insert another terminal there, so we get a bone. We connect 2 bones obtained in this way with a screw and a nut M3X4. We take 4 small petal terminals, put them all on the end of one of the bones, connect everything in a stack with a screw and a nut M2.5X4. Straighten and slightly bend the fingers.

To assemble one leg we will need: 3 clamps, a screw and a nut M4, a screw and a butterfly nut M3. We make a bone as in step 1. We connect the resulting bones in this way: 2 bones with a screw and a nut M4. We take a brass stand M3 20mm male-female, screw it into the clamp clamp. We fix the foot from the magnet with a screw M3.

Prepare a tubular base with springs for attaching the legs. To do this, bend the spring holders down and secure the legs and arms using a low nut. Insert a radio tube, for example 12AU7, or similar in size.

Let's Assemble a Neck for the Robot

Let's make 4 bones from clamp terminals, as in step 1, connect them like 2 arms, but insert a brass stand M3 5mm in the middle between them. The lower rings of the terminals need to be bent at 90 degrees. We got the neck of the robot.

Let's Strengthen the Head on the Neck

To attach the head to the neck, you need to drill the lamp bases, insert a long M3 20mm screw and screw the upper free ends of the neck prepared earlier. Then we pull the springs on the robot's body and press the lower ends of the neck. That's it.

Let's Equip the Robot With a Shoulder Bag

Take a 3-socket power strip and remove the plug clamps from it. Now the clamp needs to be bent so that it presses 2 AA batteries. The backpack is ready.

Let's Hang the Backpack on His Shoulders

To secure the backpack to the robot's back, we need to make a wraparound belt from the remaining brass strips we took out of the extender in step 5. We'll insert a spring-loaded paper clip between the battery cans and thread the belt through the ears of the clip. Tighten the belt. Now we have a robot with an independent power source.

Our Lampbot robot can now stand up straight, bend its legs, sit down, cross its legs, raise and lower its head, raise and lower its arms, bend and straighten them. These movements are enough to give the robot many expressive poses. It can also stand on inclined and vertical metal surfaces, such as a computer case, refrigerator, microwave, etc.

You can put it next to the calendar and give it poses characteristic of each day of the week every day.

Now you have a decoration for your room and an exclusive cute gift for a friend!

This robot can serve as a basis for further creativity, on its basis I assembled two other models - "a four-legged friend" and "a robot on a caterpillar platform". I hope that in the near future I will be able to publish these two models.. You are also free to add, modify and replace parts, achieving an expressive effect! Create and Enjoy!
