Planning a Masquerade party this Halloween? Well, Wholesale Party Supplies has got you covered with plenty of ideas for an elegant Night of Disguise. And because there are so many details to unmask, read on for our Centerpiece DIY, then take a peek on our blog for the rest of the party specifics.

The focal points of this centerpiece are the Venetian Masks. Pick styles with lots of bling and feathers to save time on crafting since most of the embellishing work has already been done.

Materials

Materials:

  • Masks
  • Ribbon
  • Bead Necklaces
  • Feather plumes
  • Dowels
  • Floral foam
  • Hot glue gun
  • Sixlet candies
  • Glass cylinder

Choose a glass cylinder with plenty of room to hold a piece of floral foam hefty enough to support you masks’ weight. Large plume feathers add further volume and color to the centerpiece.

Making It

  • Wrap cylinder with beads using small dots of hot glue to secure.
  • Cover dowels with ribbon.
  • Hot glue masks to covered dowels.
  • Arrange masks, feathers and tulle bows in cylinder. Pay attention to heights … varying heights keep the arrangement from being too bulky.

Finishing Touches

If your centerpiece is to be seen from more than one angle, make sure all the views are pretty. Here, we mimicked the same arrangement of masks, feather and bows on the back side since this piece will be seen by dinner guests on both sides of the table. We’ve also clustered our centerpiece on a tray with other thematic pieces. Gathering like elements gives everything more weight and gives them more prominence on the table.

All Done!
