- Resistors
Insert and solder all the resistors to the PCB in the kit.
- Mylar Capacitors
Insert and solder all mylar capacitors 0.1uf - (104) to PCB.
- Electro Capacitors
Insert and solder the Electro capacitors 100uf 16 volt - to PCB.
- Transistors
Now insert the BC337 transistors.
NOTE: The flat side of the transistor goes toward the flat side on the PCB.
- I/R Transmitter (Tx) and Laser Diode
Bend the legs over on the I/R(Infrared) transmitter - Tx diode and solder to PCB. Next solder the laser diode once solder in then apply some glue to secure the laser to PCB end.
- Super-flux 5mm LEDs
Solder 3 of the 5mm LEDs to top of PCB. and the other 3 to the underneath of the PCB.
NOTE: The LEDs that are underneath the PCB are revised way round to the PCB silkscreen print.
- Phaser Programmed Arduino Nano
Insert and solder the Arduino Nano (programmed) module to PCB. NOTE: Make sure it is inserted the right way round before soldering in place.
Phaser Programmed Arduino Mini-Pro
Insert and solder the Arduino Mini-Pro (programmed) module to PCB. NOTE: Make sure it is inserted the right way round before soldering in place.
-Phaser PCB Wiring
Solder the pre wired cable 8 pin plug to the Phaser gun PCB. Next attach a 7,4v battery to PCB with double sided tape in the kit. Then use the cable tie to secure battery. NOTE: Don't connect up the battery at this stage
- Trigger Switch and Holder
Glue the on/off switch to the printer switch holder then cut the top piece off the gun case mould so the holder can fit into place then glue. NOTE: Be careful when applying the glue (use a small amount under the holder ) other wise to much could affect the phaser gun mould casing from closing up properly when it's screw together.
- the Speaker
Peer of the double side tape of the back of speaker, then mount the speaker inside casing (see photos) if needed apply a small drop of glue to speaker sides.
- Attach Phaser Cable Lead
Fit the socket at the bottom of phaser case making sure the dot is facing up.
- PCB in Phaser Gun Barrel
Slide the PCB into the barrel until the I/R and the laser come to the barrel end.
- Solder Speaker Wires
Solder the speaker wires to the PCB.
- Fix Phaser Covers & Battery
Slide the TS cover over the barrel then solder the TS switch wires to the PCB. Once you have done a final wiring check and all is Ok, then you can connect the 7.4V Battery pack. Next attach the other phaser cover (yellow) together and screw down with the black screws in the kit, then clip in place the TS cover. Last stage screw on the phaser muzzle over the I/R and the laser diode carefully.
