In this article we describe how we made this LED corner floor lamp that changes multiple colors and can be managed from a phone. The corner lamp was made from red oak wood and ws2812b leds, it is powered by a 5V power supply, and it is controlled by an SP105E controller. The total build cost around $40, for a full build, see the video below:

Build the Wooden Structure

To build the triangle structure we used select red oak wood from Home Depot. 2 pieces that made up the base of the lamp were 0.75 in x 2 in x 2 feet, while the front piece was 0.75 in x 2 in x 4 feet. We attached the bottom of the lamp with glue and brad nails and sanded everything down. After this was done he wiped on the finish, which was Mahoney's Walnut Oil. We made sure not to apply finish to the base and the front that has the leds so the feet can stick as well as the leds.

Setup the Circuit

Attach the leds to the front that will face the wall and add the controller to the 5V power supply and leds. Once this is done you can setup the app on your phone to control the leds and set the colors!

Enjoy!
