In this instructables I am going to make a mains voltage(220V/50Hz AC) inverter with maximum power of 200W(250V). I can use this inverter to light two 100W bulbs or 150W fan motor. I can use also use it to charge my laptop and smart phone. This inverter uses three main components i.e. A Inverter transformer(12-0-12), a 200W Inverter driver circuit and a 220V Lead acid battery. I have already prepared my inverter circuit and inverter transformer in my previous instructables. I have shared the links of those instructables if you want to make your own transformer and inverter circuit.

Supplies

Hardware List:

  1. Inverter circuit 200W
  2. inverter Transformer 220V(250VA) with center tap.
  3. 12V Lead acid battery
  4. 4mm Copper wire cables(1 Meter Red, 1 Meter Black)
  5. Two 100W 220V light bulbs with holders and wires(for testing purpose)
  6. An extension board

Tools List:

  1. Soldering iron
  2. Soldering flux
  3. Soldering wire
  4. Wire stripper
  5. wire cutter or Plier
  6. Screw driver
