DIY IPad / Tablet Hologram

Create a stunning visual experience using simple items, your tablet and just a couple of minutes of time!

• iPad or Tablet
• Plexiglass or any transparent foil from old packaging
• Scissors and transparent duct tape

Create a paper template trapeze with the measures shown in the image.

In case it's hard to read:

Long upper end: 18 cm / 7 inch

Short lower end: 9 cm / 1.2 inch

Height: 10.5 cm / 4.1 inch

This way you can handle them better.

Note: We made the mistake and bought plexiglas with 2 mm that was rolled up. It's way better to get non-rolled up plexiglas that is flat when you buy it. If you need to flatten it, you can use a hairdryer to apply some heat to it. This we you can get it flat.

Use some transparent duct tape / Tesa to tape the template onto the pieces of plexiglas / foil and cut out pieces of the template. Afterwards, remove the protective foil if there is some.

Use transparent duct tape / Tesa to tape the pieces together in a pyramid shape as shown in the image

Grab your Tablet and search for "Pyramid Hologram" on Youtube. Open a video you like, set Youtube to fullscreen and put the pyramid in the middle of the tablet.
