DIY Hot Glue Pen Wands ✨

This fun and family friendly craft is a perfect afternoon activity to prepare for the spooky season ahead. With just a few supplies you can easily create pen wands inspired by your favorite movies or costumes. 🧙‍♂️

The supplies needed to create these spookalicious pen wands include:

~ Hot glue gun and sticks

~ Any brand thin pens

~ Acrylic paint (brown, black, white, gold, etc.)

~ Paint brushes

~ Decorative beads or charms (optional)

~ Craft knife (optional)

To begin building the wand you may search for design inspiration or create the shape based on your own vision. Once you have a design in mind, begin adding the hot glue to the pens in low heat so you are able to mold them to your liking.

Once you are happy with the shape of your wands, it is time to give them color and character. I recommend layering various shades of brown to reach the natural stick look.

At this point, if you wish to add charms or beads to elevate your wand look, it is best to hot glue them in place as well.

Now incase you read the last supply needed for this craft and are wondering how it is used, you can create fancy looking fake crystals by carving out hot glue sticks and adding them to your wands. Dabbing a bit of metallic gold paint on top of that helps give them a mystical look and fit in with the rest of your wands.
