Hey guys!
Today I am going to teach you how to make a Rasengan all by yourself. It is the perfect project for you guys to make during the lockdown period especially for Naruto fans.

The materials that I have used in my project are taken straight from the available materials in my home. the Rasengan is primarily made of cardboard and a little electronic components like the motors, LEDs and batteries.

It is very easy to make and is also affordable.

Let's get started !!

Supplies

The materials you will be requiring for this project are as given below:

1) a Big motor and a Small motor

2) 3 9V batteries

3) 9V battery connectors, wires, and a switch

4) coin battery

5) blue colour LEDs

6) a few tie-locks

7) Lot of Cardboard

8) 2 bands(can also use straps)

9) modelling clay

You will also additionally require a few other equipment like:

1) A soldering machine

2) Hot glue gun

3) Fevicol (or any crafting glue) bottle

Making the LED Rotating Part

First, you have to connect the LEDs to the coin battery.

Then you have to apply some modelling clay on the small cardboard circle and press the coin battery connected with the LEDs on the clay. Then apply some more clay on the top to cover the battery.

Make sure that all the LEDs are connected properly to the coin battery and are glowing brightly even after applying and covering the entire circuit with clay.

Your first component is ready !!

Rotating the LED Components

We need a component that is lightweight and is powerful enough to rotate the LED components.

You have to take some cardboard and make a rectangle out of it. Then on one end place, one 9V battery (use tie locks to keep it in place) and the other side make a hole large enough to fit in the small motor. Also attach small pieces of cardboard below the battery.

Now you have to apply glue to the sides of the base as cardboard is not strong enough to hold the battery and the motor. You can use a glue gun to fix the motor in place and have to solder a 9V battery connector to the motor.

Connect the battery to the circuit to make sure everything is working perfectly. After that make a small hole at the base for the big motor to connect to.

You are done with the second component !!

Making the Main Engine

Here we need a motor that provides a lot of torque.

We also need a large power supply for the motor.

This is because the motor is going to rotate both the components made in the previous steps and fast !!

First, you have to make a cardboard box in which you are going to house the motor, switch and the batteries. Then connect the batteries in series and solder the circuit to the motor and the switch using the soldering machine.

Using crafting glue join all the pieces of cardboard and the electronic components.

Make sure everything is tightly packed and then close the top.

Also, attach the switch to the back for easy access to tuns the motor on and off.

You are done with the third component !!

Assembly Off All the Components

Now that all the major parts are over we have to assemble all of them.

First, connect the LED component to the small motor, then attach the entire second component to the third one. You can use a little glue to hold the shaft to the cardboard pieces now attach the bands (or straps) to the cardboard box.

Now switch off the lights and switch on both the motors. Connect the entire component to your hand and secure them using the bands.

Take a video and show off to your friends! You are now officially able to make the Rasengan !!

Additional Points to Enhance Performance

There are a few points I would like to share to enhance the performance of the machine:

1) You can use any type of motor but they should be able to perform their tasks at maximum efficiency.

2) You can use your measurement for length for the cardboard since everybody has a different hand size.

3) Try to not make the machine wobble as much as possible because the much less it wobbles the more clear your Rasengan will be.

4) Make sure that all the joints and possible points of stress are given support. You don't want your machine to break down to pieces as it starts to work.

5) Finally, try to use fast motors as the more faster your motors spin the more uniform and lifelike your Rasengan can become.

All the best for making your Rasengan !!
