The materials that you need are, A fishing hook, Lighter/match, Scissors, Rope/para cord Aluminum foil (optional) you probably wouldn't need it if you had brighter para cord, but aluminum foil will reflect and catch the fishes eye.

Para Cord

Take your rope/ para cord and cut the desired length of rope. You can cut it about the length of a worm, so it kind of mimics its motion.

Insert the Fishing Hook

Next insert your fishing hook into the rope you can put in any spot of the rope you want. You can even put in multiple hooks if you want.

Burn the Ends of the Rope

Next burn both sides of the rope, to keep them from fraying. After you did that give the rope about 5 minutes to cool. Be careful not to touch the parts you burned they are hot!

Add the Aluminum Foil

Next you can wrap the aluminum foil around the rope. This step is optional, you could also use something such as a gum wrapper. So you could easily make this when you are out fishing or in a survival situation. I hope you enjoyed this instructable, have a great day.
