DIY Faux Ice Cream

Authentic looking faux ice cream, that can be used for projects, party decorations, or room decor!

Gather Your Materials

You are going to need 2 cups of corn starch, 1 1/2 cups of conditioner (any brand), a spoon, food coloring if you want your ice cream dyed, a measuring cup, and an ice cream scoop.

Combine Ingredients

Spoon in your corn starch, so it doesn't spill. Measure out 1 1/2 cups of conditioner, and add the conditioner. Stir.

Mix

Mix with your hands, until it looks like the second picture. Add a bit of conditioner if it isn't coming together.

Scoop and Form

With an ice cream scoop, scoop a full scoop like the second picture. Then press down on the bottom (its okay if the sides leak over, it makes it look more authentic. Peel the scoop of "ice cream" out of the scoop.

Final Touches

Let them dry and display them in a bowl, mousse glass, ice cream parfait bowl, or just let them set out. Now you have your "ice cream"! (Warning: Do Not Eat)
