♻ DIY DRIP WATERING SYSTEM (adjustable) ♻

my mom always put those to all her plants when she go away, or always to all those plants that should not be drowned (like potus, ferns...) .
is free and take two minutes to do.

WHAT YOU NEED

MATERIALS:
-plastic bottle;
-stick;
-piece of fabric (cut like in the photo).

CUT THE BOTTLE

cut the bottom of the plastic bottle away

INSERT FABRIC

DSC_1548.JPG
insert the piece of fabric in the cap of the bottle and close it, like in the photo (more tight for slower dripping and less tight for faster dripping).

TAPE BOTTLE TO STICK

tape the bottle to the stick. (you should not put the bottle directly on the ground or the water will not exit for the too much pressure)

PLACE IT

place the stick with the bottle in the pot and insert the fabric a little bit under the dirt.

PUT WATER

done! put water in the bottle. regulate it for your need, look at how long the water will take to go down and decide if tight or untight the cap.
