These Duct Tape Flip Flops are made mostly out of duct tape. This means they are cheap, recycled by using previous materials, tough, waterproof and most importantly, wearable. It is optional to use coloured duct tape if you would like it to look 'fancier'.

To make these duct tape thongs, you will need:
- Duct Tape
- Cardboard
- Marker
- Scissors
- Flip Flops

Place the thongs on the cardboard. Using the marker, trace the thongs. Then, cut out the shape with the scissors. You can discard any leftover cardboard.
Cover Cardboard in Duct Tape

Start by covering one side in duct tape. Then, turn it over and do the same to the other side. Next, cut off all excess duct tape, so it resembles the shape of a flip flop once again.
Make the Straps

Using a long piece of duct tape (rather use more and trim than use too little), twist it until it resembles a strap.
Attach the Strap

Mark where you believe the strap should be. Then, using the scissors, make a hole in the sole. Thread the strap through the hole and then duct tape it in place on the bottom of the flip flop. Next, cut the strap to the right length, thread it through the hole and tape that down as well.
Attach the Other Half of the Strap

With the remaining strap, tape it to the other strap. Like the other side, thread it through the hole and tape it to the bottom.
And You're DONE!
