DIY Drink Dispenser (Easy)

This is a drink dispenser, wherein any drink filled in the bottle will be dispensed by the system after the switch is turned on.

The project can be easily made by beginners under adult supervision.

No power supply is used and the entire system works on one 12V battery.

Supplies

DC 12V Mini Pump

Empty Plastic Bottle

Connecting Wires

Rubber Pipe (Must fit in the pump)

Glue Gun

Switch

Connecting DC Motor to Battery Using Wires

Take connecting wires and connect one end of the wire to one terminal of the motor and the other end to one terminal of the battery.

Using another wire, connect the remaining one end of the motor to one terminal of the switch.

Using another wire, connect one end of the switch to the remaining terminal of the battery.

We have successfully made all the electrical connections required by the dispenser to function.

Both the terminals of the battery, motor, and switch are connected to each other using conducting wires and no terminal is unutilized.

Adjusting the Plastic Bottle to Incorporated the Rubber Pipe

Take your plastic bottle's cap and place the rubber pipe on it. Using a marker mark out the pipe's circumference.

Using a drill, drill through the marked circle. (A skewer can be heated and be used alternatively)

The circle should not be too big as we need the bottle to be airtight after the pipe is inserted.

Repeat this twice as two pipes will be inserted through the holes.

Setting the Pipe

Once we have both the holes in the cap drilled out, we can take one rubber pipe and insert one of its ends into one of the two drilled holes and the other end can be left free. The part of the pipe inserted into the cap must go all the way down to the bottom of the bottle as our drink will flow through this pipe.

Take another pipe, place one of its ends through the remaining hole in the cap and the second end must be connected to the pump's opening from where it sucks the air.

The pipe must not be inserted fully, but should only be inserted a bit such that it always remains on top of the drink and is not submerged/ touches the drink.

The pipes must b placed securely, if they are moving or any kind of extra space is present, it must be sealed off using the glue gun, making it completely airtight.

All Done

There we have it.

After putting the drink in the bottle and screwing the cap tight enough, you will be able to get yourself your favourite drink by just pressing one simple button.
