DIY DC/DC Step-Down BUCK 3A
Hello,
Today we will learn how to make a buck converter using simple tools.
we will make 5volt + 12volt Buck 3A
If you understand the principle of the work you can make a buck converter with any voltage you want.
Let us begin.
Information About LM2576
Hello,
Today we will learn how to make a buck converter using simple tools,
Today we will talk about buck converter and the heart of it is voltage regulator LM2576
Buck Converter efficiency ranging from 60% to 90%
Linear Voltage Regulator efficiency about 20%
To find out more information on the voltage regulator LM2567 we'll download the PDF data sheet file.
The input voltage must rises the output voltage with 3 volts at least.
This is a scheme which will work today.
Planned feature of this scheme that can control the output voltage by changing the value of the resistances R1 and R2.
You can compensate for the resistors values in that relationship for the desired voltage.
We will explain in the practical part of the coil and the pair resistors R1 and R2.
It's easy and simple circuit.
Circuit consisting of six components with Voltage Regulator.
we will Compensation for the value of R1 and R2 in that formula.For the specified voltage.
We will start calculating output voltage 5 volts.
VREF=1.23V
You can choose resistances values as you have available.
I chose the value of R1 by 2 kilo ohms.
R2=6.13 K Ohm
The value of available resistance is 6K2 Ohm
The Inductor
Now, with the Inductor and how to calculate the conductance 100 microHenery
Searching in old electronics components , you can find many Inductors
We will look for Inductor that have only a pair of legs.
You can use the device to measure the inductance of the inductor.
after that i assembled the circuit on the bread Board.
