DIY Custom Matt Black Macbook Pro - Plasti Dip

DIY Custom Matt Black Macbook Pro with Rust-Oleum Peel Coat

Macbook pro retina display with Rust-Oleum Peel Coat (Like Plasti Dip)

1) Mask off ports

2) Clean Surface

3) Sprayed five coats of Peel Cost ( More = Thicker finish)

4) Peel off logo

5) Allow to dry for 24 hours

Mask Out Ports

Clean Surface.

Make sure it is spotless

Shake Plasti Dip / Peel Coat

Paint

Start with a very light coast and build up.

1 coat every 10-15 mins

I did a total of 5 coats

Remove Making Tapes

Remove masking tape and paper before paint drys and sticks to the macbook

Peel Off the Logo

Peel off the logo 10-15 minutes after the last coat.

Allow to Dry for 24 Hours

You can start using it but if you want it to last longer allow it to dry for 24 hours before using your computer
