DIY Cropped Hoodie

A relatively simple clothing mod to enhance any hoodie.

Supplies

  • Old Hoodie
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Tape/Pencil

Create Your Guide

Use a ruler to make a straight line just above the pocket.

Create the guide-line using tape or a pencil.

If using tape, put one piece of the tape under the line on one side and above the line on the other as seen above.

Note: using tape leaves a clean line so you don’t have to worry about marks on your sweater afterward.

Cut

Cut across the line that you made.

Don’t worry if the cut isn’t clean, you can make adjustments after you have made your main cut (or not if you prefer a more unfinished look).
