DIY Craft Stick Pen

Had you ever wanted to make a pen out of a specific material for no reason at all? I did, and I couldn't find a tutorial on how the heck to make a pen out of craft sticks and tape, so I decided to make one instead! So here's how to make a craft pen out of some craft sticks and tape.

For the word's most useless project you will need the following:

Materials:

1. Any kind of tape. I used packing tape because it was the first one I saw in my room, but you can really use any tape.
2. Craft sticks. Preferably the small kind to be able to fit the pen more accurately.
3. One pen. The cheap office pens you can find at school and the dollar tree at best.

Equipment:

1. Scissors. The big kind to be able to have enough leverage to snap the sticks. A craft knife also works too.

Take apart the pen by taking off the cap, then, holding on to the tip of the pen, pull it until it goes out of the casing. This final part will be what you will only be using to make the pen, but, keep the cap. (We'll need that in another step.)

Take 3 craft sticks and a long bit of duct tape and space out the sticks on the tape and wrap them up in a triangle. Afterwards, put the pen into the makeshift hole. There might be a small bit poking out, so cut it out.

WARNING: Do NOT cut off the end of the pen part if some ink is pointing out, just either cover it up with tape or add a little bit more stick. Trust me, you would NOT want to clean up that kind of mess.

Afterwards, add tape at the end to prevent the pen piece from falling out.

Grab 2 more craft sticks, measure the size of the original cap, and cut to size. Use both pieces. With the other stick, cut it in half and then measure to fit with the other short piece. Use a medium piece of tape, then space the sticks on the tape, make it into a square shape, then you place a piece of tape on the top.

Then you add the cap and tada!

You can now add anything to it! You can mod it any way you want! Enjoy!
