DIY Cordless Screwdriver Battery Pack
This article show you how to made diy cordless screwdriver battery pack. The old one was ni-cd that has memory effect and charge slow unlike a new one that fast charge and high output current at the same size.
Find a Li-ion Battery Case.
The old battery pack output voltage is 7.2 volts so I need two 18650 battery =3.7×2 = 7.4 volts (0.2 volts different is ok)
Second. Remove Old Battery and Attach Li-ion Battery Case to It.
A new battery is longer so you need to attach new battery case to the old one.
Insert 18650 Battery and Test.
The new battery is good but if you plan to use it seriously , you need to add battery protection circuit.
Now, you can store plenty 18650 battery to the screwdriver box and ready to go.
