Gather Supplies

While you are collecting all the things you need, think about an essential oil that would make these bath salts smell amazing and grab it and bring it with you.( I chose eucalyptus!:)
Mix Dry Ingredients

In mixing bowl dump:
1 cup Epsom Salt
1 cup Sea Salt
¼ cup baking soda
Stir together making sure to crush any big lumps of salt.
1 cup Epsom Salt
1 cup Sea Salt
¼ cup baking soda
Stir together making sure to crush any big lumps of salt.
Add Essential Oil

Drop a few drops of your favorite essential oil in the bowl and mix it in.
Separate Evenly

If you want to leave one portion of the bath salts white, you will only need 3 zip top bags. Separate the salts into the bags and bowl evenly.
Add Food Coloring

This is the fun part, getting some good color happening ! Using a toothpicks scoop out pink, blue, and green gel food coloring and put into the bags. If you are using liquid food coloring just squeeze out a few drops. Not too much, you can always add more later but can't take it back out!
Mix Color

It may take abit, but massage the bags til the food coloring is all blended with the salts.
Funnel Salts

Get your pretty glass container and start funneling the beautiful bath salts into it. In straightness or a more wavy look, whatever you think looks great.
Layer Colors

Keep putting on the layers of salts, making sure the colors look real pretty with one above and below it! Stop when you've used all the colors or when your container is full.(My container got full so I had to get an extra little glass jar:)
Enjoyyy

Have fun with this creation, a good soak in the tub, decor on your shelf, or even as a lovely gift!
