DIY Christmas Candle Holders

Hey everyone! Want to make the season brighter? Just check this 'ible out! :)

Gather Materials

Here is what you'll need for this Instructable.

-Clean jars

-Red and green tissue paper

-Black card stock

-Small tree template

-Tacky glue

-Mod Podge

-Red and green tinted Mod Podge

-Clear acrylic sealer

-Scissors

-Paint brushes

Add Tissue Paper

Grab your jars and cover them with one layer of tissue paper. Let dry. In the first picture I just cut a square and glued it to the bottom of the jar, then cut a circle out. I then cut around so it had flaps, then glued the flaps down.

It's Tree Time!

Grab your tree template and cut a piece of card stock just big enough for it to fit on. Cut the trees out and glue them to your candle holders.

Add a second layer of tissue paper and let dry. Paint a layer of tinted Mod Podge over it, then add a final layer of tissue paper. Let that dry and enjoy! ;) Merry Christmas, everyone! :D
