There are so many ways to transform an old t-shirt. Here, we show you how to create a choker t-shirt!

Supplies

What You’ll Need:

  • Old t-shirt
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Tape or Pencil

Create the V

Fold your shirt in half vertically, then lay it on one side

Using your ruler, measure how deep you’d like the “V” to be.

  • We recommend 4-5 inches
  • Measure from the end of the collar line
  • If you want the “v” to be wider, you’ll need to start the measurement wider depending on how low you’d like it to be.

Use tape or a pencil to create your guide. This will help you cut out the “V” shape in the next step.

Using your scissors, cut along the guide.
Cut along the collar as well.

  • Optional: Stretch the “V” shape by gently tugging on the edges. This will give the shape a more “worn” look.
