D.I.Y Cardboard Turtle Friend

I wanted a fun D.I.Y turtle to put in my room. This was the process I took and that you can take to make this yourself.
Supplies
Materials
- Cardboard
- Paper
- Teal and Brown Paint
Tools
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Elmers Glue
- Laser Printer
- Paintbrush
Laser Printing
Laser print using the 3 files below (cardboard).
Cut and Attach the Supports

Cut and attach the 4 supports (with hot glue) to the base of the turtle shell to make a half-oval shape like so. (The supports can be however long and however wide you would like).
Glue Paper Onto the Supports

For the paper, I cut 4 equal pieces of paper (preferably white construction paper). They can be as long as you'd like, yet again, up to your preference. Then, take some Elmer's Glue and smear it on the supports. Apply the paper before it dries, equally so there is no space in between. (DON'T WORRY! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PAINTED ALREADY!)
Glue Shell to Main Turtle Outline
This is pretty easy. Use Elmer's Glue to attach the 2 parts of your turtle.
Glue the Little Shell Pieces Onto Shell

Glue these pieces onto your turtle shell using some Elmer's Glue. Make whatever fun pattern you want.
Paint!
I saved the last step for the best. That step is painting your new turtle! This can be with whatever colors you want. For mine, I used a teal base and a very dark brown for the shell.
There you have it! Your new cardboard turtle!
