IMG_3566.jpg

Hi guys! In this post I'll be showing you how I made this calendar. This calendar is a cute room decoration and can be used every day. This craft isn't too difficult but does take a bit of time. It also isn't very expensive considering most of the supplies can be found in your own house. I hope you enjoy!

Supplies

  • Card Board
  • Small Nails
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Spray Paint
  • Card Stock
  • Scissors
  • Hole Puncher
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Markers

Make Board

  1. I cut out two square pieces of card board. One was 12 inches by 6 inches and the other was 12 inches by 2 inches.
  2. After cutting out the pieces I hot glued the larger piece vertically on top of the smaller piece.
  3. Then I spray painted the glued pieces gold and let it dry.
  4. After it was dried, I nailed three nails evenly across the top of the card board.
  5. To finish it, I put hot glue on the backs of the nails so that the nails wouldn't come loose or be pokey.

Make Months

  1. To start, I cut out 12 3 inch by 5 inch squares of card stock.
  2. After I cut out the 12 pieces I punched a hole in the top center of all of them.
  3. Then I wrote out the month and a correlating picture on each slip of paper in pencil.
  4. After I had it all written in pencil, I went back in with black and colored markers to make it look more finished and professional.
