DIY Cabochon Ring
Materials
- scissors
- pencil
- E6000 glue
- lace
- scrapbook paper
- paint brush
- modge podge
- jewels, rhinestones
- small beads
- costume ring(type with the large plastic jewels)
- clear resin cabochons
Step 1
- Trace out the outline of the cabochon on the paper with a pencil
- Cut out a backing for the cabochon
- Paint a thin-medium amount of mode podge not he printed side of the paper
- Stick the cabochon to the wet side of the paper
- Let dry
Step 2
- Cut a rounded edge on some lace
- Cut the lace to fit the cabochon
- Paint modge podge over the lace on the cabochon
- Place any jewels on the cabochon
- Let dry
Step 3
- Remove jewel from ring if need
- Use E6000 to glue the cabochon into the ring
- Put glue on the empty edge of the cabochon, since it is oval and the cabochon is a circle
- Place small beads or jewels in the empty edges
- Let dry for 12 hours, let cure for 24-72 hours
