Tape the Dressform

First, tape the half front of the dressform.

Do not hesitate to notch just to make sure that the tape perfectly molds the bust.

You will need at least 3 layers of tape.

Then, repeat these steps for half of the back.

Designing the Corset Belt

Now, we can move to the designing part, concretely it consists of drawing the corset over the tape.

I recommend you to start with the dotted or pencil drawing to make sure you have something pretty correct.

And only after that you draw your final lines to the marker.

After that, you can put arrows and numbers.

This is useful for the final assembly.

So now you can remove the molding.

Pattern Drafting

So once you have removed the molding from the manikin, you simply have to separate the back and the front and cut each part before sticking them on a sheet.

During the sticking process, I realized that the tape did not hold well flat, so I divided the back and the front in two, so you have to end up with two back piece and two front piece.

Once everything is flat, you will have to draw the outline of each piece, then add your seam allowance value using a ruler or a measuring band.

Then cut out each piece.

Finally, the last thing to do is to put the number, arrows and all that you want to indicate.

So that's all for this tutorial. Do not hesitate to like and subscribe.

I will try to make the corset (sewing) tutorial as soon as possible ;) .
