DIY || Blowable Electric Candle

blow intruct.jpg

Blowable Electric Candle is a candle which can be blown off and can reglow after sometime. The time after which it will reglow can be adjusted (by varying the capacitance).

This project is based on Transient clap switch circuit which is a circuit which turns ON the load (light) when it detects clap/blow. For this candle, the output effect of the circuit is reversed (using Relay) i.e. now the light turns OFF when it senses blow/clap.

Materials Required

To make this project, we require:

• Relay (6V)

• Condenser Microphone

• Transistors – BC 547 (2)

• Resistors – 330 Ω, 10 K Ω (2), 1 M Ω

• Capacitor – 4.7 μF

• Switch

• LED

• Battery (9V) and Battery Clip

• Wires

• PCB

• Cardboard

• Paper

Major Tools required:

• Soldering Iron and Solder Wire

• Hot Glue Gun
