DIY Bicycle/motorcycle Chain Lock

I made a chain lock for my motorcycle. The chain locks in the shops are usually very thin and overpriced. You can make a more secure and cheaper lock yourself.
Supplies
A thick chain.
A durable and cutter-proof padlock.
Fabric of your choice, size depends on the length and widh of you chain.
Sewing machine OR basic sewing supplies when sewing by hand.
Measure & Cut
Measure the widh and length of the fabric of your choice to cover the chain lock. After taking and marking the measurements, cut out the piece of fabric. NB! count in a small seam allowance into the measurements.
It's useful as it makes cutting the chain more troublesome and makes less noise when rubbing against your vehicle.
Sew the Edges

Sew the edges of the fabric, using up some of the seam allowance. Keep in mind that we will be sewing the edges from the inner side.
Sew It Shut

Sew the chain cover shut using both edges. Since we sewed loose the edges inward in the last step, this will leave a stronger and finished seam.
Assemble
Turn the chain cover inside out and slide the chain inside. You have made your own chain lock!
It's important to measure the fabric correctly because if the chain doesn't fit at this stage then there is not much to do other than start over.
