DIY Bench

This bench was made from an old set of bunkbed steps that was found at the dump

I took these bunkbed step completely apart. Sanded all the pieces to be used and slightly burned them with a torch. Setting aside the sides of the step for the seat and back. Cut the largest pieces for the legs. The back legs cut at a slight angle so that the back would have a tilt and not set straight. I framed in a box for the seat top attach using 1inch wood screws. At the bottom of the legs I used 2x4 to brace in between the front and back legs with a 1x6 joining the 2 2x4's
