DIY Barbie´s Sunglasses

FullSizeRender(3).jpg

This is the perfect project if you want to impress your niece, daugher, student or friend. I´ve been trying to diy lots of different accesories for Barbie, some experiments aren´t successful, but this one came out really cool!!!!

Today I'm going to show you how to make sunglasses for Barbie. In a couple of minutes and with few materials you'll have them ready.

I'll make several to put in the goodie bags at my daughter's Barbie themed party.

Gather Your Materials

Squared small slinky

Hot glue gun

Silicone baking mat (or parchment paper)

Scissors

First cut a piece of the slinky. As shown in the picture.

Now let the glue gun get very hot, and in the silicone mat make two circles one beside the other. It doesn't have to be too thick. And don't worry if the shape is not symmetrical.

While it's hot place the piece of slinky right at the top.
Now you have few seconds to shape the hot glue, with the scissors make the curve at the middle.

Wait until it's cold to peel off the sunglasses from the mat.

Now with the scissors you can finish the shape.

And that's it! You can paint the slinky or everything with nail polish, add embellishments, glitter or whatever you want. If you have glittery hot glue sticks I bet they'll look fantastic.
