DIY Apple Watch Charging Stand (IKEA Hack)


If you are annoyed with extra long charging cable of your Apple Watch, you can try building this charging stand and enjoy it.
Just Put a Hole





First thing is first, just open a hole enough to get through the USB side of the charging cable...
Get the Dongle Placed



Get the dongle placed and you can use anything to stabilize it. As you see I just shrink the original cap and attached it with a plastic cable band.
Cable Wrapping...






Be intuitive to complete this step, once I used sticky tape but it did not turn out well. (last image)
The best solution I achieved was bending and sticking staples.
And an important note, do not forget to carve an exit for the cable on the upper part ...
Attach the Bottom






Once you adjust the cable length just glue the bottom lid...
Ready to Go...
