Have always wanted everything around me to reflect what I do ,so thank u for the organisers of this contests,

Over a year ago i changed the condenser of my car AC system & as my mama always say "Don't always throw away things quickly" i never throw away the old one
I always knew it will be useful so when I saw this contest the idea came to me to convert it to a walk clock I can hange in my garage or living room as it will reflect what I do since am an auto mechanic.

Supplies

. Old Car Ac Condenser, old spark plug,New wall clock engine, old wall clock circular plate.

Tape, marker, angle grinder with small size cutter disc, hot glue gun with glue,

Depending on your preference, after much thought I decided to place the clock engine in the centre of the condenser,

I start by using tape to measure the length and breadth & divided each to half (using marker to mark each half i measure)on the condenser board)so as to get accurate middle point( center of the condenser),

After i carefully place the clock engine on the condenser right in the middle i traced the engine out with a red marker ( I chose red for visibility),

Now on the center of the condenser i have a bright square pattern of the clock engine.

Cutting the Clock Engine Sitting Hole

Since condenser is made of aluminium, when cutting it usually create a tiny particles dangerous to human health so please be protected before cutting (safety glasses, nose mask & hand gloves),

Using my angle grinder fixed with metal disc cutter size 115×1.0 ( big size cutter will not give an accurate cut only small size will do because of the small surface area.) I carefully trace out the red square clock engine pattern on the condenser board.

Fixing the Engine & Securing With Hot Glue Gum

After much research hot glue gum is best for this project to secure the engine in its rightful sits,

I apply hot glue gum round the edges of the clock engine and carefully place it in the hole cut out on the condenser board (make sure it align well & straight as this may affect the accuracy of the time,

If there's any gap fill the holes with the hot glue gum.

Ready to Hang

Carefully stick them together after 2minutes

Base on preference i have prepainted ten of twelve spark plug i will be using of five colours (blue, green, red, yellow & white),

Using hot glue i carefully glue down all the twelve spark plug directly in front of the 12 numbers on the white circular plate,

Next I fixed the three counter hands ( the minutes, hours & seconds).
